Major Recruitment is proud to be seeking Nuclear Mechanical Engineers to join our prestigious client on a range of long-term projects, expected to run for over 14 years with renewable 12-month secure contracts.

Successful candidates will be assigned to specific projects following a positive review of their CV and selection process, if you review a call back, potential projects will then be discussed.
Day to day, you could be developing innovative mechanical designs, leading project delivery, or providing technical solutions to support our client’s diverse portfolio. Your work will play a key role in advancing vital UK sectors including nuclear decommissioning, power generation, new construction, and defence, contributing to the growth, sustainability, and security of these essential industries.

Hybrid: 3 days working in the office and 2 days working from home. (choose your own hours between 37 - 40 per week)
Location: Cumbria or Warrington based office.

Experience/Qualifications/Skills:
Essential:
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams, delivering activities across a variety of project types.
- Demonstrated experience in tackling a wide range of tasks, spanning different levels of complexity.
- Strong communication skills and the capability to interface effectively with professionals from other disciplines.
- You are someone who owns and delivers, who champions high performance and is courageous to challenge the status quo.
- A degree in engineering (or equivalent qualification) in a relevant engineering discipline, complemented by substantial demonstrable experience.
- Strong knowledge of CAD tools and General Engineering Drawing Practice.
Other:
- At least 3 years’ experience working on nuclear projects.
- UK Driving License: A valid UK driving license is necessary.
- British Passport: You must possess a British passport.
- Right to Work: You must have the legal right to work in the UK.
